Spironto

Spironto is a tool for semantic annotation of patient documentation. Chronological entries can be enriched by concepts that can be defined and modified by users. Originally it has been developed to assist interdisciplinary teams in palliative care, but can be used also for other care situations where (i) doctors, nurses and other professions have to build and evolve a holistic overview of a patient’s situation over time and (ii) it is interesting to analyze cases and do cross-case analysis in reflective learning situation to improve overall collective knowledge about treatment and care.

It has been developed by an interdisciplinary team, coordinated by Tanja Stiehl from LMU Munich, and Traugott Roser from University of Münster, Christine Kunzmann (Pontydysgu) and Andreas P. Schmidt (Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences), .
